Oktoberfest at Petrifying Springs

Kenosha’s Oktoberfest is back for three days at Petrifying Springs. Expect German beer, plenty of food, live music all weekend and all the Biergarten vibes. Saturday even has a free shuttle starting at 2 p.m., so you can skip the parking headache.

Beach House Burn at Simmons Island

📍 Kenosha Beach House at Simmons Island | Sept. 12 | 6:30–10 p.m. | Free

This one is definitely a little different—in a good way. Beach House Burn brings a Burning Man-style bonfire to the lakefront, complete with a giant wooden figure going up in flames. There’ll also be live music from Kenosha’s own Spirit Shakers, plus fall treats and drinks from the beach bar.

Walk in the Woods Art Fair

📍 Hawthorn Hollow Nature Sanctuary & Arboretum | Sept. 12 | 10 a.m.–4 p.m. | $5 admission (cash only)

Art in the woods? Yep. Spend Saturday wandering the trails at Hawthorn Hollow while checking out one-of-a-kind art and handmade finds from artists and makers. There’s live music, food, kids’ activities and plenty to see along the way—basically a fall Saturday well spent.

Boo & Brew Fall Market

📍 BB’s Pub | Sept. 12 | 11 a.m.–3 p.m. | Free

Fall market season is officially here. Boo & Brew is kicking off its first Saturday with local makers, food, music, free kids’ activities and plenty of fall vibes. Browse the vendors, grab something to eat and maybe find a new local favorite while you’re there.

Bloomin’ Bands

📍 Kenosha Moose Lodge #286 | Sept. 11–12 | Free

Good music for a good cause. Bloomin’ Bands brings local bands and musicians together for a weekend of live music, food and drinks—all while raising money for programs that support kids and families right here in the Kenosha community.

Festival Orgullo Hispano

📍 Celebration Place at HarborPark | Sept. 13 | Parade 11 a.m. | Festival noon–10 p.m.

Come hungry and ready for a full day at the lakefront. Festival Orgullo Hispano celebrates Kenosha’s Hispanic community with live music, dancing, traditional food and drinks, local vendors and plenty for the whole family. The day kicks off with a community parade at 11 a.m. before the festival gets going at Celebration Place.

Glow in the Park Night Climb

📍 Boundless Adventures | Sept. 12 | Ages 7+ | $59 advance

Want something a little more adventurous? Take the climbing and ziplining into the trees after dark at Glow in the Park. Neon lights, music and nighttime energy turn the course into a completely different experience—and definitely one of the more unique ways to spend a Saturday night around Kenosha.
